Hypnosis Mic burst onto the scene in 2017 and has been making waves throughout the otaku world ever since! The multimedia rap project is the love child between King Records and Idea Factory with some of the most well-known voice actors in the biz lending their voices to the twelve HypMic characters. The world of Hypnosis Mic is set in a post-apocalyptic Tokyo where four \u201cdivisions\u201d must rap battle it out in order to increase their territories. This mish-mash of rap music and anime aesthetics has never been seen before, so it’s no wonder that HypMic is sending the otaku sphere wild!<\/p>\n

The most important of all the Hypnosis Mic merch – the music! Currently Hypnosis Mic has released four singles (one by each division) and five albums, featuring both catchy tunes and compelling drama tracks. Each first press edition of the CDs come with a code that allows fans to vote for their favorite division to be crowned the Kings of Rap. During the first Battle Season, over 350,000 CDs were sold with Mad Trigger Crew VS Matenro reaching number one on Japan\u2019s Oricon music charts.<\/p>\n
