Panasonic（パナソニック） is the Japanese electronics giant founded in 1918, and its IC recorders（ICレコーダー） have long been a go-to for meeting notes and language learning thanks to their sound quality and battery life. Around 2021, however, Panasonic announced it would wind down production of all IC recorder models with no successors, so the stock still circulating in Japan is the last chance to get one.
