What is the Price Negotiation Assistance Service?

One Map has a feature that allows you to negotiate prices. By negotiating the price, you can purchase items at a lower price than the listing price.

Please note:

• The minimum negotiated price is 80% of the listing price. (For a $100 item, the negotiation range is $80-$99.)
• If we receive a notice from the seller that the negotiation is not possible, the negotiation will be terminated.
• Counter offers are not accepted.

How can I negotiate for prices on FROM USA?

The procedure varies from site to site. There are three different patterns applicable for the following: eBay, Mercari US, and Other sites (including flea market sites such as Depop, Poshmark, etc.)

How to negotiate prices on eBay

For items displayed on the FROM USA site with the eBay tab, you can only negotiate prices for items marked with “Negotiate Price”.

Step 1: Enter your desired price.

If there is a “Negotiate Price” button at the bottom right of the product page image, you can negotiate the price. When you click the “Negotiate Price” button, a field where you can enter your desired price will appear.

Step 2: Proceed with payment at the original item price.

After entering your desired item price, proceed to the payment page as usual and pay for the original price first.

Step 3: Our staff negotiates the price with the seller.

If the price reduction is approved: Our staff will purchase the item and refund the difference.
If the price reduction is not approved: The order will be cancelled and the full amount will be refunded to the original payment method.

How to negotiate prices on Mercari US

Step 1: Enter your desired price.

For items sold on Mercari US, there is no “Negotiate Price” field like on eBay. If you wish to negotiate the price, please specify your desired price in the “Contact Us” section.

Step 2: Proceed with payment at the original item price.

You will then be prompted to pay for the original price of the item. After confirming payment, our staff will negotiate with the seller to lower the price. If successful, we will refund the difference. If the negotiation fails, you will be contacted by our Customer Service team again.

(Depending on the seller, there may be cases where price reduction negotiations are not possible.)

How to negotiate prices on Other Sites

Step 1: Enter your desired price.

If you wish to negotiate the price on a flea market site other than eBay or Mercari US, please follow the below steps using our Other Sites tab.

Copy and paste the URL of the item you wish to purchase (for example: www.depop.com/products/…) into the search bar. Click the “Go to Order Page” button, which will take you to the product page as shown below in most cases. As with Mercari US, you will be asked to specify your desired price in the “Contact Us” section.

Step 2: Proceed with payment at the original item price.

You will then be prompted to pay for the original price of the item. After confirming payment, our staff will negotiate with the seller to lower the price. If successful, we will refund the difference. If the negotiation fails, you will be contacted by our Customer Service team again.
