The Rarest Pokemon Plush Toys: An Overview

Pokemon, a Japanese media franchise owned by Nintendo, was launched in 1996 and is a contraction of Pocket Monsters. On its launch year, the Pokemon plush toys were also introduced like the Bell Plush or the Suzunari Pokemon Plush. This was a series of 3 sets totaling 49 plush toys by Banpresto which stopped production in 1997. These plush toys are about 3 inches high and are sold with a cord and a bell. Many collectors consider these 49 toys to be the rarest of all Pokemon plush toys. In fact, they are now selling for as much as $150 each.

Just released on January 29^th was the 20^th Anniversary Memorial Tribute Album of the much-anticipated anime and manga series Sailor Moon which features music tracks of the Sailor Moon shows, seasons 1 to 5. It even has a bonus track which is the French version of “Moonlight Densetsu” and is sung by Clementine. Another version of “Moonlight Densetsu” is performed by idol group Momoiro Clover Z at the start of the album. Momoiro Clover Z also contributes another track called “Tuxedo Mirage”.

AKB48 2013 Manatsu no Dome Tour DVD & Blu-Ray Released on December 18th

AKB48’s latest DVD “Manatsu no Dome Tour – Madamada, Yaranakya Ikenai Koto ga Aru” (We still have many things to do) was released on December 18th, 2013. The whole AKB family consisting of AKB48, SKE48, NMB48 and HKT48 participated in this summer event that took place in Tokyo, Nagoya, Sapporo, Fukuoka and Osaka from July 20th to August 25th 2013.
